Our Father's Basket International is a nonprofit organization. Our purpose is to respond to the call of the Lord to care for the needs of the poor and to share Jesus with the lost. We will accomplish this through farming, training, community investment, and ministering to the people.

In October of 2022, we leased 10 acres of land in a village in Uganda that we have begun farming together with the people who live there. They are being encouraged to be involved in the farming and training opportunities, in order to benefit the community as a whole, and to invest in the coming generations. Some of the harvest will feed the poor, some will be reinvested back into the farm in order to sustain itself, and the rest will be used to care for the needs in the community. Some of these needs are paying for school fees, medical expenses, putting in a new well, well repairs, and latrines.

The greater vision is to create a community that cares for each other's needs in love, and the foundation of that needs to be Jesus. This village is primarily Muslim, and has so far welcomed our team, who is preaching the gospel. We are prayerfully asking God to cultivate the soil of their hearts to receive the message, and that it will transform their lives. Only He can do that.

The meaning behind the name "Our Father's Basket" is to be a reminder that even orphans, who do not have an earthly father, do have a Heavenly Father who loves them, hears their cries, and cares for their needs. Jehova Jireh.
